My now husband bought this as my engagement ring, and it shines brighter than the rings of the women I work with,and it's unique without being ugly or over the top. I'm very clumsy, and the setting is wonderful in that it's not too high and there are no prongs to catch on anything. Everyone I know loves this ring as much as I do, it's so different it makes a statement of individuality that I love.
