My fiance recently purchased this ring for me. We had shopped together and we both agreed that it was beautiful however the quality of the center stone left something to be desired. The stone had a yellow tone to it and had obvious occlusions which were visible to my naked eye. Neither of us were satisfied with it. After questioning the salesperson we found out that it would be possible to replace the center stone with another 1 carat stone. We looked at the available stones in stock and found a colorless and absolutely beautiful stone. We purchased this setting (minus the center stone) and the diamond we liked. I now have the ring and it is beautiful! I'm really glad we went the route we did by replacing the center stone.
