Neil Lane’s passion for period architecture is evident in this exquisite engagement ring. A cushion-cut center diamond is framed by round diamonds, Art Deco style flourishes on the band define the vintage influence. Elaborate hand-finished scrollwork along the edges of the band completes the look. Composed with one and three-eighth carats in diamonds set in 14K white gold, with Neil Lane’s signature on the inside of the band. My boyfriend proposed with this ring and it is soo wonderfully sparkly, pretty and timeless! He asked for advice and my only real wishes were for something that was really sparkly (check), did not snag things easily (check) and was not a solitaire (check) —this ring is perfect! The little designs on either side are gorgeous—the detailed etching is quite unique. Every angle of the ring is stunning and I am so excited to wear it each day. I receive compliments all of the time on the beauty and details of the ring.
Added bonuses:
1) It is not so obnoxiously large that I feel weird wearing it
2) It does not look like every other engagement ring in existence

There is one downside—currently there is not a matching wedding band. We have to get one made—which is slightly inconvenient—although they will make it exactly how we want it so that is a plus. The Kay we visited was very helpful with designing the custom band. Outside the no matching band I love everything about the ring (and the guy who gave it to me!).
