My boyfriend got me this as my promise ring. It's actually like my third promise ring because the first one broke and the second one didn't fit me. Opal is my birthstone as well as the pink tourmaline, but both of them together looked really nice. The opal is brilliant and sparkly. The design is different and artistically nice. I've had my ring for a year now, I've bumped it many times on accident and it has stayed in great shape. Recommended for your loved one!
